To store your artificial Christmas tree properly, you’ll need to ditch (and recycle) the box it comes in. 

While it is ideal to keep your tree safe in transit, layers of tape on the box won’t cut it after the first few years because: 

• It isn’t properly sealed - our bags will keep your tree clean, dry, and contaminant-free, as it needs to be sealed all the way around and is waterproof
• Tape can easily pop open as stickiness is lost - your bag contents won’t be exposed and potentially spill out with our double-stitched seams and heavy-duty zip
• It’s hard to handle - a large box is awkward to manoeuvre and lift, especially on a ladder, unlike our bag with specifically designed carry handles

So, if your tree box is now more tape than box, it might be time to trade it in for a dedicated Christmas tree storage bag.
