Assembly & Compatibility – Festoon Series Lights
Each 10m belt includes 20 evenly spaced E27 bulb sockets mounted on a tough, waterproof rubber cable. Bulbs are sold separately.
Each socket features moulded extrusion points for secure mounting on walls, fences, pergolas or other structures. Optimised waterproof seals ensure safe, reliable performance with compatible E27 bulbs in all weather conditions. Extension cables and other accessories are available in the Festoon Series range (sold separately).
Bulbs connected to this belt are powered by our Festoon Series starter cable (sold separately) which connects directly to a standard household plug. The maximum capacity for connected belts, total length or number of bulbs depends on the wattage of the bulbs used. Please see our ‘Power Usage’ section for more guidance.
Any sockets not fitted with a bulb can be sealed using our screw-in lamp holder caps (sold separately) to protect unused sockets. When using these lights outdoors, ensure the power plug is connected indoors or kept in a suitable waterproof box (also sold separately).

You can, however, you will need a suitable waterproof outdoor socket.
Can I use any E27 Bulb with these Festoon Belts?

Yes you can. We would recommend you use our E27 bulbs as they have been specifically designed for use outdoors.
Using other brands of E27 bulbs will work perfectly fine. When looking for E27 bulbs, make sure to take note of the bulbs power consumption and if its suitable for outdoor use.
Note: Using other brands may void your warranty.
How do I hide excess sockets after installing?
How do I hide excess sockets after installing?
Sometimes you might have excess sockets depending on your arrangement.
We recommend you use a Protective Seal, this allows you to discreetly hide the excess sockets without them emitting light, whilst protecting the belt from water damage by sealing the sockets.
