The 16cm cable drop from the belt to each socket allows for creative hanging arrangements, making this belt perfect for patios, wedding venues or stylish garden installations.
Assembly & Compatibility – Festoon Series Lights
This 5m belt includes 10 long-drop E27 bulb sockets mounted on a tough, weatherproof rubber cable. Bulbs are sold separately.
Each socket features moulded extrusion points for secure mounting on pergolas, fences, walls or other structures, while the extended drop brings a more distinctive hanging effect. Waterproof seals ensure safe, reliable performance with compatible E27 bulbs in all weather conditions. Extension cables, connectors and other Festoon Series accessories are available separately for larger or more complex layouts.
The belt is powered via a Festoon Series starter cable (sold separately) that connects directly to a standard household plug. For outdoor use, ensure the power plug remains indoors or protected inside a suitable weatherproof box (sold separately). The total number of belts, bulbs or overall length that can be connected to one power source depends on the wattage of the bulbs used. Please check our ‘Power Usage’ guide for further details.
Unused sockets can be sealed with our screw-in lamp holder caps (sold separately) to protect empty fittings.

You can, however, you will need a suitable waterproof outdoor socket.
Can I use any E27 Bulb with these Festoon Belts?
Can I use any E27 Bulb with these Festoon Belts?
Yes you can. We would recommend you use our E27 bulbs as they have been specifically designed for use outdoors.
Using other brands of E27 bulbs will work perfectly fine. When looking for E27 bulbs, make sure to take note of the bulbs power consumption and if its suitable for outdoor use.
Note: Using other brands may void your warranty.
How do I hide excess sockets after installing?
How do I hide excess sockets after installing?
Sometimes you might have excess sockets depending on your arrangement.
We recommend you use a Protective Seal, this allows you to discreetly hide the excess sockets without them emitting light, whilst protecting the belt from water damage by sealing the sockets.
