Assembly & Compatibility – Festoon Series Lights

Each 5m belt includes 10 evenly spaced E27 bulb sockets along a heavy-duty black rubber cable. Bulbs are sold separately, giving you the choice of different styles and wattage from the Festoon Series bulb range.

Every socket features moulded hanging points for quick installation on walls, fencing, poles or tension wire. Waterproof seals ensure safe, reliable performance with compatible E27 bulbs in outdoor environments. This belt connects to a Festoon Series starter cable (sold separately), which plugs into a standard household socket.

Multiple belts can be linked to extend your setup. The total number of belts or bulbs that can be powered from one starter cable will depend on the wattage of the bulbs used. Please refer to our ‘Power Usage’ guide for more advice.

Unused sockets can be sealed using screw-in lamp holder caps (sold separately) to maintain weather protection. For outdoor use, always ensure the power plug is kept indoors or housed in a suitable weatherproof box.
