Make sure every branch of your 7 ft Balsam Fir Christmas Tree has been carefully fluffed before you begin adding any decorations. Properly shaping your tree at the beginning creates a fuller silhouette and gives every garland, cluster and pick somewhere to sit naturally.

To help, you can stand back every few minutes while fluffing to check how the tree is looking from a distance. This makes it much easier to spot any uneven areas that remain.

Once you’re happy with the shape, position your Navy Velvet Tree Collar around the base before the rest of the decorating. The rich navy colour and soft velvet finish introduce the palette from the beginning, creating a luxurious foundation for the garlands and decorations to come.

Take your Navy Bauble Garlands and Navy Velvet Bauble Garlands and gently intertwine them to create one fuller, layered garland.

Loosely weave the two styles together, adjusting the baubles as you work so both finishes remain visible. Combining the classic and velvet baubles introduces contrast within the single-colour palette while giving the garland more volume.

Attach the intertwined garland across the lower section of the tree, then lift the middle upwards and secure it to a higher branch. This creates two sweeping drapes, one on either side.

Adjust the curves until they feel balanced, gently arranging the surrounding branches to support the garland while keeping the baubles clearly visible.

Repeat the same technique as you work upwards, intertwining the Navy Bauble Garlands and Navy Velvet Bauble Garlands before positioning each row.

Follow the shape established by the first garland, lifting the middle of each row to create two balanced drapes. Continue until you have three rows of garlands across the tree, gradually reducing the width as the branches become narrower towards the top.

Leave enough greenery visible between the rows for the remaining decorations. Step back regularly to check the spacing and make sure the curves feel balanced from top to bottom.

Next, add Navy Beaded Garlands beneath each row of bauble garlands.

Secure the ends, then lift and attach the middle so each beaded garland follows the same draped shape above. Allow the beads to hang slightly below the baubles so their finer shape remains visible.

Spread them across the front and sides of the tree, positioning some slightly deeper within the branches and others closer to the outer tips. This helps create depth while carrying the navy colour through the areas of visible greenery.

Next, add Navy Glitter Leaf Cluster Picks into the remaining gaps between the garlands and glass berry clusters.

Tuck the stems into the branches, allowing the decorative leaves to sit clearly against the greenery. Vary their direction as you work, fanning some upwards and others towards the sides.

Take your Navy Glitter Leaf Sprays and cut them down into individual stems, keeping some at their full length and shortening others to create a mixture of sizes.

Tuck the individual stems throughout the branches, alternating between longer and shorter pieces. Allow the longer sections to extend slightly beyond the greenery, while using the shorter stems to fill finer gaps between the garlands, berry clusters and picks.

Varying the lengths creates a softer outline and adds more movement and depth to the all-navy design.

Finish the tree by keeping one Navy Glitter Leaf Spray whole and using it as a coordinating topper.

Insert the stem into the centre of the top branch, then gently fan the leaves outwards to create height and shape. Adjust the spray until it feels balanced and naturally connected to the glitter foliage used throughout the tree.

Using the same decoration at the top carries the navy glitter detail through from the branches to the topper, helping the whole design feel cohesive.
