Make sure every branch of your 7.5 ft Pre-Lit Snow Flocked Christmas Tree has been carefully fluffed before you begin adding any decorations. Properly shaping your tree at the beginning creates a fuller silhouette and gives every flower and spray somewhere to sit naturally.

To help, you can stand back every few minutes while fluffing to check how the tree is looking from a distance. This makes it much easier to spot any uneven areas that remain, especially when working with a snow-flocked tree.

Once you’re happy with the shape, position your Sage Green Faux Fur Diamond Tree Skirt around the base before the rest of the decorating. The soft sage tone introduces the colour palette from the beginning, while the faux fur texture complements the snowy branches and creates a gentle foundation for the floral design.

Start the main design by placing your 56cm Sage Green Oversized Velvet Artificial Poinsettias.

As these are the largest flowers in the look, position them towards the lower section of the tree where the branches can carry their scale. Rather than spacing them evenly across the whole tree, use them to create the beginning of a sweeping curve.

Work from the lower section upwards and slightly across the tree, allowing each flower to lead naturally into the next. At this stage, the aim is to establish the shape of the floral sweep, rather than fill every gap straight away.

Next, add your medium-sized sage green flowers to build the main body of the curve.

Use a mixture of 30cm Sage Green Velvet Artificial Poinsettias, 32cm Sage Green and Gold Glitter Poinsettia Flowers and 28cm Sage Green Glitter Poinsettia Flowers. Continue following the shape created with the oversized poinsettias, carrying the floral curve upwards towards the top of the tree.

Alternate between the velvet, glitter and gold-detailed finishes as you work, rather than grouping one style together. Keeping the flowers fairly close through the curve helps the design read as one continuous floral sweep, while the smaller scale naturally narrows the shape as it moves upwards.

Once the main floral shape is in place, use 15cm Sage Green Glitter Artificial Poinsettias to fill any remaining gaps throughout the curve.

Work these smaller flowers between the larger poinsettias, particularly where the snow-flocked greenery is showing through within the design. Their smaller size is ideal for tightening the shape without adding too much bulk.

Continue following the curve from the lower section towards the top of the tree. These final flowers help make the whole floral sweep feel fuller, more continuous and more clearly defined.

Next, add gold berry sprays to the undecorated side of the tree, creating a warm contrast against the sage green floral curve.

Work the sprays from the bottom upwards, filling the open greenery and angling the stems so the berries sweep naturally through the snow-flocked branches. Keep the placement fairly even, but avoid making it look too structured.

Finish the tree by creating a coordinating topper using gold berry sprays.

Push several sprays securely into the centre of the top branch, then fan the stems upwards and outwards to create height and a soft, dramatic shape. Adjust the stems until the topper feels full but still light enough to complement the floral curve below.
