FAQs

Do pre-lit LED Christmas trees last longer?

Yes - pre-lit artificial Christmas trees are designed to be used Christmas after Christmas, for many years to come.

LED lights are far more energy efficient than traditional bulbs and typically have a much longer lifespan, making them an excellent choice for an artificial Christmas tree that you'll enjoy season after season.

Every WeRChristmas comes with a 3 year warranty for your peace of mind, and our collection of Christmas tree storage bags ensures your tree will be well-protected in storage over the years too.

How do I choose a pre-lit artificial Christmas tree?

There's a lot to consider when choosing your perfect Christmas tree. As a first step, we recommend starting with the space your tree will be in. Measure your available floor space and ceiling height (remembering to leave room for a tree topper!)

Next, think about the style of tree you prefer. Fuller trees create a traditional festive look, while slim and pencil trees work well in narrower spaces. You should also consider the number of branch tips, the type of foliage and the colour of the built-in lights, as these all contribute to the finished appearance.

Finally, choose a size that suits your room. A smaller pre-lit artificial Christmas tree is ideal for flats and cosy spaces, while taller trees create a striking focal point in larger living rooms and entrance halls.

Pro Tip: If you're considering a larger, taller Christmas tree, the available floor space is just as important as ceiling height. Taller, fuller trees tend to be wide in diameter when fully fluffed out and take up more floor space than you might anticipate. Measuring the floor space as well as the ceiling height and planning ahead will ensure your dream tree fits perfectly in the space you choose.

Can I add extra lights to lighted Christmas trees?

Yes, absolutely. Many people choose to add extra lights to their lighted Christmas trees for an even brighter glow or to create a particular style.

Warm white fairy lights can add extra depth and a twinkling glow, while decorative micro lights are perfect for highlighting the outer branches. When adding additional lighting, winding the light strings evenly throughout the tree complements the existing LEDs rather than overpowering them.

Before adding more lights, always check the manufacturer's guidance to ensure your chosen lighting is suitable for use alongside the tree's existing electrical components.
